Why NOT Panda Cloud Free AV?

In the Whole Product Dynamic Test,
you tested both Microsoft Security Essentials and avast! 5.0 Free
and I congratulate you for doing so.

*BUT*

-Why Panda Cloud AV was NOT included in that Test ?

hi, we tested the same 16 products/vendors which participate(d) in our yearly test-series of 2009.

1) Will you Test Panda Cloud Free AV?

2) What about PC Tools AntiVirus Free and A-Squared Free?

I know that you get paid by the Vendors who participate in your Tests,
but
it would be GREAT to see a TEST having some FREE products
(except from the ones offered by AVIRA, avast!, AVG, and Microsoft).

the vendor decides which product (free or commercial version) he wants to submit for testing. if we would decide by ourself they could accuse us to test apple vs. oranges.

-Apples vs. Oranges-
I did Not suggest to Test Free AVs -vs- Commercial ones.
That would be Totally Unfair.
But
-Can't you offer an AV-Comparative with exclusively Tested FREE AVs?
You don't have to charge the Vendors for that test.
-Can't Security Software Magazines, Sites etc. sponsor such a Test
if Vendors are Not willing to pay for it?

yes, they could.

yes, they could.
But NO one (Magazine, Site, Forum etc.) has been interested in such a Test yet, ah :?:
It is surprisingly since most Users rely on FREE AVs especially in the Recession we live in!

Couldn't it be possible to have a Test on FREE AVs
without the Financial Support from Vendors, Magazines etc :?:

It does NOT have to be as Extensive & Thorough as Commercial-AV Tests.

Millions of users hope that AV-C will offer such a test in 2010...

Panda is back?

Apparently Panda decided to start submitting their antivirus product again to AV-Comparatives. Or so they say , at least.
Can you confirm this? And, if so, when will they start being evaluated?

Thanks

Panda's in the list of 2010 test-series participants. AVC usually have an on-demand test around now, so guessing Panda will be included in this.
Typically released in mid/late Feb
