AVAR 2021 virtual conference is taking place on 2nd and 3rd December
AV-Comparatives is again supporting the AVAR security conference. AVAR 2021 Virtual is the 24th edition of AVAR’s international conference. The event is taking place on the 2nd and 3rd of December, and registration is free.
The program of live events over the two days features presentations on the most important cybersecurity issues faced this year. Day 1 topics include the following: malware targeting macOS on Arm processors; modern-day rootkits; making cybersecurity practical for users; using third-party SDKs to detect Android malware. Some of the day 2 topics are: Android malware and sandbox evasion techniques; Mac malware and zero-day threats; uncovering the hackers behind the attacks on Iran’s railways.
In addition, a number of other presentations can be streamed on demand during the conference. These include: using Excel macros to distribute malware; sandbox evasion techniques; hunting Android stalkerware; the evolution of Linux ransomware; the rise of information stealers.
