FireEye was founded in 2004 and is based in California, USA. The company makes a range of security products for businesses, including endpoint, network and email security.

FireEye was in AV-Comparatives’ Business Main Test Series since 2018. In 2021, FireEye was acquired by Symphony Technology Group, and became part of the “Trellix” brand.

From 2022 onwards, enterprise products formerly known as “FireEye” might be found under the name “Trellix” in AV-Comparatives’ enterprise tests.
